Terms and conditions

These terms cover the me-andyou.me website, the free Boundary check, the Me (and You) programme, and sessions with Alissa. By using the site or buying the programme, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who you are dealing with

Me (and You) is a trading name of Alissa Lang Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact details are at the end of this page.

2. What the programme is, and is not

Me (and You) is an educational and developmental programme about boundaries, responsibility and how the brain creates feelings. It is not therapy, counselling, coaching for a clinical condition, medical care, or specialist domestic abuse support. We do not diagnose or treat any condition. If you are struggling, please speak to your GP or a qualified professional; if you are at risk from someone, the National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247) or 999 are the right first calls. You remain responsible for your own health, safety, decisions and actions.

3. Eligibility

The programme and sessions are for people aged 18 and over.

4. The free check

The Boundary check is free, needs no account, and is provided as it is. The result is a reflection prompt, not an assessment of you.

5. What you get when you buy

• Me (and You), the programme (£47 founding, £67 list): access to all ten modules and their worksheets, for as long as the programme is published, at your own pace.
• The Guided programme (£247): the programme plus four 25-minute 1-2-1 online sessions with Alissa, one after each of the three parts and one at the end. Sessions are booked through our booking page and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Prices are in GBP and include any applicable taxes. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through our payment provider, Stripe. We may change prices at any time; the price you paid is the price you paid.

6. Your access code

After purchase you receive an access code by email. It is for you alone. Please do not share it, post it, or use it to give others access to the programme. If a code is shared, we may withdraw it and issue you a new one, or in serious cases end your access without refund.

7. Sessions

Sessions are delivered live online at a time booked through our booking page. If you need to move a session, please give at least 24 hours’ notice and we will find another time. A session missed, or cancelled with less notice, counts as taken. If we have to cancel, we will offer a new time.

8. Cancellations and refunds

The programme is digital content. Under UK consumer law you have 14 days from purchase to cancel for a full refund, unless you have started accessing the programme, at which point that right ends. You will be asked to agree to this at checkout. The sessions that come with the Guided programme can be cancelled for a refund of their part of the price at any time before they are booked; a session that has been taken, or missed, is not refundable.

If something is wrong with the programme, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.

9. Intellectual property

The programme, the exercises, the site copy and the Circles Method are the property of Alissa Lang Ltd. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own development. You may not copy, share, resell, teach from, or redistribute programme materials without our written permission. What you write during the programme is yours.

10. Results

The programme works when you do the exercises, and outcomes depend on your own engagement and circumstances. We do not guarantee any specific result.

11. Use of the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to do anything that could harm the site, its availability or the programme, including attempting to bypass the programme access controls.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alissa Lang Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the programme or a session. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or a notice on the site. The terms in force when you bought the programme apply to that purchase.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
